Slow down, get creative, and spend a couple of hours doing something completely different.
Part of our Level 1: Foundations series, Dwarf Jade is a welcoming introduction to the art of bonsai. With its sturdy trunk, beautiful green foliage, and forgiving nature, it’s an ideal tree for learning the foundations of shaping, pruning, and styling your own living work of art.
Guided step-by-step by seasoned instructor John Hunter, you’ll learn the basics of bonsai while enjoying a relaxed, hands-on experience designed to help you unplug, be present, and connect with the people around you. There’s something special about creating side by side, sharing conversation, laughter, and the experience of making something with your own hands.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a bonsai you shaped yourself, the knowledge to continue caring for it, and hopefully a little more zen than you came in with.
Each ticket is designed for one guest and includes their own bonsai tree, tools, and workspace for a fully hands-on experience. Your ticket includes:
- One pre-pruned Dwarf Jade bonsai tree
- A premium Japanese ceramic bonsai pot
- Two hours of guided, hands-on instruction
- A curated take-home care kit with a tote bag, spray bottle, mini shears, fertilizer, fertilizer basket, Zen Den sticker, and detailed aftercare instructions
Come for the bonsai. Stay for the zen. Leave with a living work of art.
